Personal Injury Cases We Handle
When someone else's carelessness hurts you, California law lets you ask them, and their insurance company, to pay for what you lost. Here are the kinds of cases we take.
A personal injury case is a claim for money when someone else's carelessness causes you harm. In California you can usually recover medical bills, lost pay, and payment for pain and suffering. Most claims must be filed within two years of the injury, and only six months if a government agency is involved.
Campano Law Group handles these cases on a contingency fee. The consultation is free, and you pay no fee unless we win.
Free case review. Tell us what happened, and Attorney Angelo F. Campano will personally review your message.

- You call us. We talk about what happened. The consultation is free, and we can meet in the evening or on a weekend.
- We take over the insurance company. You stop taking calls from adjusters. We gather the police report, photos, witness names, and your medical records.
- You focus on getting better. We help you find medical care and keep track of your bills and lost pay.
- We demand payment. When your treatment is far enough along, we send the insurance company a demand for what your case is worth.
- We settle or go to court. Most cases settle. If the insurance company will not be fair, Angelo Campano is ready to file a lawsuit and take your case to court.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What counts as a personal injury case?
Any injury caused by someone else's carelessness (lawyers call this "negligence") or by a dangerous product or property. Common examples are car crashes, dog bites, falls on someone else's property, and deaths caused by another person's mistake.
What money can I recover?
Usually your medical bills (past and future), lost wages and lost earning ability, property damage, and payment for pain, suffering, and emotional distress. Every case depends on its own facts, so we cannot promise a result.
What if I was partly at fault?
You can still recover money in California. The law uses "comparative fault." Your recovery is reduced by your share of the blame. If you were 20% at fault, you can still recover 80% of your losses.
Do I need a lawyer for a small claim?
Not always. Call us and we will tell you honestly whether you need a lawyer. The call is free.
