Employment Law
Employment Lawyer in Palmdale
When someone is mistreated at work, we work to make sure they are compensated and that the mistreatment stops.
California protects workers from being fired, harassed, or treated differently because of who they are, and from being punished for speaking up. If you were wrongfully fired, harassed, discriminated against, or not paid what you earned in Palmdale or the Antelope Valley, save every email, text, and pay stub, and write down what happened while you remember it. Deadlines apply. Most discrimination and harassment claims must be filed with the California Civil Rights Department within three years. Call for a free consultation.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can my employer fire me for no reason?
Most California jobs are "at will," so an employer can usually fire you for any lawful reason or no reason. But they cannot fire you for an illegal reason, such as your race, age, disability, pregnancy, or because you complained about harassment, took protected leave, or reported a safety problem.
What should I bring to my first meeting?
A recent pay stub (it shows your employer's official name and address), any employee handbook or manual, anything you sent the company about your concerns (emails, texts, letters), copies of anything you signed or were asked to sign, and names of any witnesses.
Do I have to file with a state agency first?
For discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under California's Fair Employment and Housing Act, you usually must first file a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department and get a "right to sue" notice. We handle that step.
Do you represent employers too?
Yes. Attorney Angelo F. Campano represents both employees and employers in employment matters.
How much does an employment case cost?
